Help that answers after the floors close
Gambling Support BC answers its line 24 hours a day, so it is still there after both Kelowna casinos have closed for the night. This page sets out that number alongside the programs that run inside the casinos themselves.

One number, any hour
Gambling Support BC takes calls at 1-888-795-6111, free and confidential, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That includes the hours after the last floor in Kelowna shuts. The program is provincial and is run by the Independent Gambling Control Office (IGCO). Any B.C. resident can call, and so can people affected by someone else's gambling: a partner, a parent, an adult child. The website is gamblingsupportbc.ca.
Game Break and GameSense
Game Break is BCLC's voluntary self-exclusion program. A person picks a term of 6 months, 1 year, 2 years or 3 years. Once chosen, the term cannot be changed. It also covers PlayNow.com. Enrolment happens in person at any casino, with government-issued photo ID, and at Playtime Casino Kelowna on Water Street, people enrolled in Game Break are refused entry.
Every B.C. casino has a GameSense Advisor available. Chances Casino Kelowna on Springfield Road also has an on-site GameSense information centre. Staff there explain how the games work and what the odds are. They also help guests set personal limits.
Pick the stop time first
This is general advice, not a fact about either casino. Every casino game has a house edge, so over time players as a group lose more than they win. A late night is easier to end on time when two numbers are set before the first bet. One is the stop time, and the other is the spending limit. Neither has to match the hour a floor closes.
